Prairie Creek Trail Details

This trail meanders alongside Prairie Creek through a gorgeous redwood forest. You can take a short spur trail to the Corkscrew Tree, a single tree with numerous trunks (also known as a Fairy Tree). Start the Prairie Creek Trail at the marked trailhead off the west side of the Newton B. Drury Scenic Parkway, opposite the Cathedral Trees Trailhead. You can also access the trail via several other trails: Zig Zag #1, Zig Zag # 2, Foothill, Cathedral Trees, and Elk Prairie.
