Landing Cove Details

Once you arrive at Landing Cove on Santa Barbara Island, you can climb 200 feet along a quarter-mile trail to the peak of the island. Or, if you'd rather, jump right into the water and start snorkeling to discover the undersea world. You may not be alone, though: California sea lions and harbor seals like this area, too. Back on land, the island's five miles of hiking trails begin at Landing Cove, some of which are explored via ranger-guided hikes. A small visitor center and restrooms can be found at the cove as well.
