Tooth Cove Details
Tooth Cove and its neighboring North and South Tooth Coves are located on the eastern side of Aialik Bay, just south of Coleman Bay. The three small coves here are all quite similar; the middle one, Tooth Cove, is the only one that is officially named. Camping is limited here: the best beaches for camping are at the back of Tooth and South Tooth Coves. Bear-resistant food containers are required, since there is no locker or large trees for hanging food. Both Tooth Cove and North Tooth Cove can be closed seasonally for nesting birds. In all three coves, spend some time paddling the super clear waters and drinking in the great views of the tidal areas.
