East End Road (Highway 107) Details

Highway 107, or East End Road, makes a hook around the southeastern flank of St. John. From its junction with Highway 10 at Coral Bay, Highway 107 is only 4.4 miles of paved road (a 45-minute drive) to a point near Grootpan Bay, where the road becomes a dirt road that goes another 1.3 miles until it ends. This road passes a few restaurants, an eco resort, and the intersections with Highway 109 (which leads to Bordeaux Mountain) before it returns to park land. Along Highway 107 you'll also find the trailheads for the Saltpond Bay and Rams Head trails and the Lameshur Bay Trail, which connects with the Reed Bay and Petroglyph trails. You also pass Great Lameshur Bay and Lesser Lameshur Bay, two picturesque spots with very good snorkeling.
