Turnhole Bend Trail Details
The Turnhole Bend Trail starts on the Buffalo Creek Trail and leads you 1.8 miles out to the Turnhole Bend Campsite. It is an out-and-back, so you'll have to retrace your steps, but you can choose to go all the way back to the Buffalo Creek Trail or connect with the Sal Hollow Trail. This trail passes some old homesites and snakes down the peninsula created by the kinked Green River, where the campsite sits. Remember, horses have the right of way and must stay on trails at all times. Hikers should exercise caution and communicate with riders when passing horses in narrow areas.
