This canyon trail is rocky and, in some places, technically challenging. There are no road signs indicating the location of this trail, but you'll find a pullout 9.4 miles into the Spearfish Canyon drive, 3.8 miles north of Savoy. There is a short trail leading to the gulch, with a series of steps that take you up to a viewpoint. You can travel farther, but the hike gets more technical as you go deeper into the canyon and involves some scrambling on loose rock.
