Mallard Creek Trail Details

This little used trail follows Mallard Creek from its confluence with Firehole River to its junction with Mallard Lake Trail. The creek, which is a small, quickly flowing steam, is located in a deep, shady ravine well below the hillside on which the trail is located. It is important to note that this is currently considered an un-maintained trail, and can be difficult to follow, with many steep ascents and descents, and a number of switchbacks.
