Madison Information Station Details
The Madison Information Station was one of Yellowstone's original trailside museums, housed in a log and stone building completed in 1930. You can get general park information here or browse the Yellowstone Association bookstore. The Madison Picnic Area is nearby, and legend has it that the Washburn expedition camped near here in 1870.
