Golden Gate Details
The Golden Gate Canyon was formed by Glen Creek, which plunges more than 1,400 feet in less than three miles before meeting the Gardiner River. And yes, there is a Golden Gate Bridge here -- it's actually a mountain-hugging viaduct that carries the Grand Loop Road through the canyon.
