Taggart Lake-Beaver Creek Details

This loop trail takes hikers to Taggart Lake via sagebrush and forests and then continues with a climb up a glacial moraine and return along Beaver Creek. Landmarks along the way include a footbridge across Taggart Creek (near a pretty waterfall), the park's horse corrals, and a bridge over a portion of Taggart Lake. Wildlife may be seen in areas cleared by past fires and in the old-growth forest you'll pass through. The hike begins at the Taggart Lake Trailhead, which is 2.3 miles north of the Moose Entrance Station on Teton Park Road.
