Schwabacher Landing Road Details

Schwabacher Landing Road is slightly off the Teton Park Road, and worth the extra five minute drive to visit. This is one of the most photographed areas in the park, overlooking the flat, still waters of the Snake River which reflect the Teton Range. Note that this is a small gravel road leading to a small gravel parking lot and a brief walk to the fantastic viewing across the flat grasslands. While the mountains and river capture most people's attention, it is also a great spot for wildlife viewing. Visitors typically see beavers, otters, coyote, antelope, and deer in this area. The landing itself is used by boaters to launch onto the river.
