Madison Falls Trail Details
Traveling through meadows and forest, this easy trail provides access to some of the most splendid natural features in the Elwha Valley. Historically occupied by the Klallam people, this didn't become pioneer territory until the late 1800s, and the trail reflects the background of mining, timber, and wilderness resorts that shaped the area's past. The trail, which is accessible and open year round, features a sunny, wildflower-filled meadow, bigleaf maples, and the stunning 30-foot Madison Falls lined by basalt cliffs, maidenhair ferns, and alpine strawberries.
