Buckner Orchard Walk Details

The Buckner Orchard Walk is a short, family friendly walk that give insights into Stehekin's cultural and natural history. The walk begins on cedar-lined Buckner Lane, which once served as the main access road to the Buckner Homestead, and winds through grassy meadows filled with apple trees and scattered structures and farm relics. Self-guiding pamphlets are available to share more about the 100-year-old orchard and the family that tended it. If you're visiting in the fall, be sure to sample the delicious heirloom apples that are still grown here. The trailhead is off Stehekin Valley Road, 3.1 miles from the boat landing.
