Henry M. Jackson Visitor Center Details
The new Henry M. Jackson Memorial Visitor Center (360-569-6571) at Paradise remains open year-round, but only on weekends from October to May (10 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.), and some holidays including Thanksgiving and Christmas through New Year's. The spacious and cozy spot offers visitor information, exhibits, a theater, a gift shop, an informative high-relief map of Mount Rainier, and stellar views of the mountain with binoculars for getting up-close views. Outside the visitor center is a small picnic area.
