Kolob Arch Trail Details

Created by weather erosion and localized canyon wall collapse, this majestic arch measures about 288 feet across, and is surrounded by red cliffs and an overgrown evergreen forest. The arch is accessed via the La Verkin Creek Trail or the Hop Valley Trail; a short detour trail leads to one of the biggest freestanding arches in the U.S. These access trails are both fairly long, and can be a little strenuous.
