Island in the Sky Visitor Center Details

40 minutes from Moab at the north entrance to the park is the Island in the Sky Visitor Center. Learn more about the park by checking out the free exhibits and the orientation video. The center is well stocked with publications and maps. Knowledgeable rangers are happy to answer questions and to help you with permits for overnight stays. Typically 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, hours vary seasonally but generally the center is open all year except Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and for a winter hiatus from late December through February.
