South Rim Trail Details

The South Rim Trail features one of the best views in the park which makes this difficult hike worth your while if you are an experienced hiker. The 11.9-mile loop is about six miles uphill to the rim and then six miles back down; complete with a variety of scenery ranging from the Laguna Meadows to the Boot Canyon.
