Mule Ears Viewpoint Details

The Mule Ears Peaks are some of the more famous formations in the park and this overlook gives a great, clear view of them. The parking lot also serves as a trailhead for the Mule Ears Spring trail which is a 2-mile (or 4-mile round trip) hike which leads to a wonderful desert oasis and spring. The Mule Ears Viewpoint can be accessed on mile 15 of the Ross Maxwell Scenic Drive.
