Old Baldy Trail Details
This is a moderate, 6.4-mile loop trail that gains around 300 feet on the way to the summit of Old Baldy Mountain. You can just hike the 5.7-mile loop through the forest, or opt for the additional one-mile spur trail to the summit. You'll weave through pine forests and stands of aspen and birch; on the way, look out for wild turkey, deer, and elk. Hikers and mountain bikers share this trail. The trailhead is located on the west side of FSR 134, 1.1 miles north of the intersection with FSR 222.
