Little Spearfish Trail Details

This is an easy, six-mile loop trail that travels through pine and aspen forests and along picturesque Spearfish Creek. The creek is home to the American Dipper, a songbird famous for its ability to fish underwater. The trail gains around 1,400 feet. Hikers and mountain bikers share this trail. Coming from Spearfish, take Highway 14A to FSR 222 to reach the trailhead.
