Castle Peak Campground Details

Castle Peak campground is located in a canyon on the edge of Castle Creek in Black Hills National Forest. Deep ponderosa-pine forest surrounds the canyon. There are nine tent sites here; each site costs $10 per night, first-come first-served. There is no running water, and the only amenity is a pair of vault toilets. To get to the campground, take Highway 385 to Country Road 237 to Country Road 306, to Country Road 181. Castle Peak stays open through the winter.
