Castle Trail Details
On the longest trails (10 miles roundtrip) in Badlands you'll weave through spire mazes, buttes, and fins surrounded by classic open prairie. The trail may be accessed on the east or west end of the park from Badlands Loop Road. The eastern trailhead begins at the Window and Door Trail parking area, while the west trailhead may be found at the beginning of the Fossil Exhibit Trail parking area. Restrooms can be found at the Window and Door end of the trail.
