Tree Farm Trail Details
This is a great all-season loop, with wide paths for cross-country skiers and hikers and scenery that is stunning year round. Once a part of a family-fun Christmas-tree farm (the descents of which continue to raise trees locally), the area contains bramble meadows, gently rolling hills, and rows upon rows of tall evergreens. The trail begins in an open field, using the old farm lanes as paths, and eventually wanders in and out of a maze of evergreens and spare hardwoods. A spur about half way into the tail leads to Horseshoe Pond, a popular spot for fishing picnics.
