Riding Run Trail Details

Combining the likes of old fields, historic bridges, the Hale Farm & Village, and the scenery make for a wonderfully pastoral bridle trail. Beginning at the Everett Road Covered Bridge, it loops between Everett Road and Wheatley Road on a wide gravel road abandoned by the township in the 1950s before entering a fragrant evergreen forest. The quiet and relatively remote located is great for wildlife watching, and the road is often lined with native wildflowers. This trail does contain some steep climbs, but these lead to excellent views of Cuyahoga River and Riding Run valley.
