One of the original depots from the 19th century Valley Railway now houses the Peninsula Depot Visitor's Center, which has information on the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railway, the village of Peninsula, and the Ohio & Erie Canalway. Take time to visit the village, a canal boomtown that once rivaled Cleveland and still is home to many fine buildings. Operating Hours: Spring: Saturdays and Sundays, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Summer: Mondays and Tuesdays, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Wednesdays through Sundays, 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. Fall: Wednesdays through Sundays in September and October, 9 a.m. - 7 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays in November, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Winter: Saturdays and Sundays, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
