Furnace Run Details
An area that has been developed and restored since it's donation to the park in 1929, this 890-acre park contains almost three miles of easy, picturesque trails and thousands of spring flowers. The flowers, which are primarily daffodils, trillium, crocuses, and bluebells, were planted along the H.S. Wagner Daffodil trail before it's donation to the park, and even when the plants are not in bloom, the canopy of maples, oaks, and sycamores enlivens the trail. The park also includes Brushwood Lake, once a popular swimming area that has battled erosion and is currently be revived.
