Oconaluftee River Details
Oconaluftee River is one of the better trout streams in the park. The stream is generally considered to be medium sized upstream from Bradley Fork, and then turns large after the fork. It is most often accessed from the Smokemont Campground, however just about all of it can be accessed along Route #441 - the main road through the park. It is mainly populated with Brown and Rainbow trout.
