Greenbrier Picnic Area Details
This pretty riverside picnic area has 12 picnic tables, grills and restrooms. There is a pavilion available which seats 70. The pavilion can be reserved in advance for $10 by telephone at (877)444-6777, or online at http://www.recreation.gov. The picnic area is open year-round. There are several short trails that lead to the 19th century Little Greenbrier School and the Walkers sisters' cabin. The picnic area was named for a local family who supplied park workers with fresh spring water.
