Rattlesnake Canyon Trail Details
This moderate trail is off of Walnut Canyon Scenic Drive at interpretive stop #9, around two miles from the visitor center. The trail descends about 600 feet over the course of about three miles via a side canyon, eventually reaching Rattlesnake Canyon. Highlights include visiting the remains of an old homestead from the 1930s. You'll come out of the canyon the same way you came in, for a round-trip journey of around six miles. The hike takes about two hours, depending on how long you hang around inside the canyon.
