Winslow State Park Details
This is one of the two state parks that can be found along the slopes of Mount Kearsarge. Rollins State Park is on the southern side, while this park is located on the northwestern side. Most visitors come to hike to the summit, which sits approximately 2,937-feet above sea level. On the way up the trail, you can stop at a scenic plateau at the 1,820-foot mark. From here, you will have great views of Mt. Sunapee, Ragged Mountain, and Pleasant Lake, as well as the southern and central Vermont peaks.
