Orange Mountain Details

With an elevation of 2,684-feet, this mountain is one of the most iconic peaks of Mount Cardigan southeast ridge. The entire journey is just over 5.5-miles and is rated moderate due to the steep switchbacks located at the end of the trail. While the majority of the hike is through a conifer forest, the summit is an open clearing with picturesque views over the White Mountains. You will also be able to see the Ossipee Range, Newfound Lake, and of course, the looming peak of Mount Cardigan.
