Bear Brook State Park Details

Covering over 10,000-acres of southern New Hampshire, this park is considered to be the largest in the state. As such, there are plenty of outdoor activities and spots you can participate in during your visit. Hiking is incredibly popular, with over 40 miles of trails leading around the park. There is also an archery range, a baseball field, and a physical fitness course. And if you would rather spend the day on the water, then there are also numerous ponds where you can go fishing, swimming, or canoeing. In addition to the recreational activities, the park is also home to several historic buildings, including the New Hampshire Snowmobile Museum, Old Allenstown Meeting House, and the Richard Diehl Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Museum. Each of these was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the mid-1940s.
