To access the Wheeler Peak Summit Trail, you will need to take the Wheeler Peak Scenic Drive all the way to end. At which point it ends in a small parking area which serves as the trailhead for one of the park's most difficult yet most rewarding hikes. Please be cautioned that this hike starts at 10,000 feet with an almost 3,000 foot elevation gain, so only attempt this hike if you are physically able enough to complete it.
