Village Inn at Apgar Details

Built in 1956 and set along the peaceful shoreline of Lake McDonald, Village Inn at Apgar offers classic lakefront lodging just two miles inside Glacier National Park west entrance. Open for the 2026 season from late-May through early-October, the inn provides sweeping water and mountain views from every room, making it one of the most scenic stays in the park. Accommodations are rustic yet comfortable, with a variety of room types including one and two bedroom units and select full kitchen units equipped with basic cookware, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and stove. All rooms have private bathrooms and lake views. There are no televisions, air conditioning, or in room telephones, preserving a simple, unplugged experience. Second floor rooms are accessed by stairs only. Guest rooms are non smoking, and cooking is permitted only in designated kitchen units. A limited number of accessible rooms are available based on availability, and only service animals are permitted. Parking is located just behind the inn.
