Rocky Point Trail Details
This hike is a beautiful walk in the woods, taking you near the shore of Lake McDonald where you can stop and rest. As it continues, you'll get view of the lake and also the Logan Pass area. Part of the trail hikes through old burn areas beginning to regenerate. There are plenty of spots for breaks, and the relatively flat trail makes it great for families with kids. Remember, Glacier is grizzly country. Carry bear spray, make noise and travel in groups. The trailhead is near the Fish Creek Campground on the North Fork Road.
