Ash River Visitor Center Details
The Ash River Visitor Center is located off of County Road 129, which exits from Interstate 53 just southwest of the turnoff for the Kabetogama Lake Visitor Center. The Visitor Center has a information desk, where you can check in for your campsite reservations or rent a canoe or kayak. In addition, you'll find a bookstore, informational display, children's activity table and movie theater. An informational film about the park plays here on loop. There are picnic tables outside, as well as a free public boat launch and separate paddle launch. Check inside for information on ranger-led hikes, which are available when there is staff free to lead them.
