Pick up an off-road vehicle (ORV) permit at Nauset Beach and you can set off on a 4x4 adventure over the dunes to secluded Nauset Outer Beach. Your five-mile drive will bring you past privately owned beach shacks and through a beautiful landscape of dune grass, marshes, and sandy beaches. Turn off of the main road at the cutouts in the dunes to pick a beach spot of your very own. You can even sleep overnight on the beach if you have a camper. No facilities or lifeguards. **Note**: nudity is prohibited at Cape Cod National Seashore.
