Nauset Marsh Trail Details
This mostly easy trail leads from the Salt Pond Visitor Center into a recovering forest along the edge of Nauset Marsh and Salt Pond before looping back. You should plan on taking an hour to walk the one-mile circuit to allow plenty of time to stop and enjoy the many scenic views. You may spy hints that parts of the trail pass through a former golf course; also look for an old farmstead, red cedars filling in old fields and fairways, and rafts of quahog seeds floating on the tidal Salt Pond.
