Tyler Brook Preserve Details
Tyler Brook Preserve follows it's namesake through marshy wetlands and scenic overlooks. Interestingly, the backside of the preserve is where the historic road leading to Kennebunk once passed, with stepping stones being used as a bridge. John Tyler, for whom the area was named, built a mill and his home here using one of the large rocks in the area as the backing foundation. Visitors on a stroll through the park will almost certainly notice the location known as "Tyler's Back."
