River Link Trail Details

A wildlife corridor occurs naturally where animals often migrate to and from certain locations. This happens between the Damariscotta and Marsh Rivers where the River-Link Trail now protects the wildlife in their land and river crossings. The moderate 7-mile trail now includes bridges and crossings through the forests and streams of the Boothbay Peninsula, with well-built stone pathways thanks to the conservation corps. Preserved with the various efforts of local organizations and landowners, it is suggested to carpool if wishing to hike through.
