Reid State Park Details

Donated in 1946, Reid State Park is the first saltwater beach to be state-owned. With large sandy beaches and dunes, this park is unique to the state and was created under the premise of preserving the rare land forever. Sitting on a total of 770 acres, visitors can hike and explore the marshes and rocky tidal pools, as well as take in views of the surrounding lighthouses. With its unique landscape, the beaches are the home and nesting ground to endangered birds like the piping plover and least tern. Facilities: Picnic Area, Parking, Group Picnic Shelter, Grill, Restrooms
