Now called Dresden, the old remnants of the settlement seen along the Pownalborough Courthouse Trails date back to 1761 when the first buildings were established. Today, the three and a half-mile network winds through woods, ravines, old stone walls, and cemeteries. A short hike also takes guests to the river and the location of the historic courthouse.
