Mary Grant Nature Preserve Details
As part of the Grant family since 1905, the Mary Grant Nature Preserve is both important to conservation and history. Mary Grant was the child of Rebecca and George Grant who mostly used the property as a summer home. They left it to their daughter upon passing. As Mary never married, she used the home for summer visiting as well and wished as per her will that the land be dedicated as is and never be developed. The 13 acres now have picnic tables, two trails, and provide a tranquil setting for the public to enjoy.
