Martin Point Wildlife Reserve Details
The Martin Point Wildlife Reserve is open to the public thanks to the generosity of the Zeitlin family. As the family property was already abundant in wildlife and trails and sitting along the Muscongus Bay on 50 acres, they asked for support from the land trust to turn it into a place of public recreation. The land has both forest, wetlands, and a pond that help to support an array of wildlife. The two easy and moderate walking paths follow the ocean, pond, and run through forests where everything from herons to elusive fishers have been spotted.
