Hilton-Winn Preserve Details

From flying squirrels to exotic flowers, the Hilton-Winn Preserve has something for everyone. Due to its location near and on the Ogunquit River, the landscape hosts a diverse array of habitat. Forested wetlands, riparian zones, vernal pools, and old farmland are all observed in the preserve. Two trails are also found here ranging from easy to moderate, as well as a short boardwalk for visitors to cross over the muddier areas. Of interest are the old mill site and cellar homestead dating back to the late 1800s.
