Utilized by both the college, a science laboratory, and a sailing team, the peninsula and land occupy 113 acres situated along 2.5 miles of shoreline. Horseshoe crabs, lobster boats, wildlife, as well as the general public are seen throughout the tidal zones exploring the unique habitat created during low tide. There is also a sandbar guests can use to walk out to Wyer Island. The flat 3.9 miles of trails wander through woods and shoreline but be wary as they can be tricky to navigate when wet.
