Grand Falls Trail Details

A "u" shaped trail, this scenic route begins at Russell Pond and ends at a junction with the Wassataquoik Stream Trail. From Russell Pond, take the Pogy Notch Trail for .2 miles before bearing right onto the Grand Falls Trail. Follow past the north shore of Bell Pond, across a boggy area, before joining with the old Wassataquoik Tote Road. To go to the falls, take the side trail to the left for .4 miles. Continuing on the main trail, it turns upstream towards the southwest along the old tote road. At mile 2.8 the Ledge Falls offers a nice lunch spot with views of South Traveler Mountain. The trail terminates at the junction with Wassataquoik Stream Trail.
