Daicey Pond Loop (Nature) Trail Details
This nature loop offers views of Katahdin and the mountains to the north. It is well worth the time and is an excellent way to explore the Daicey Pond area. The trail begins at the Daicey Pond Campground and follows and old tote road for approximately .1 miles. Turn left, following the trail through dense spruce and fir growth, before following the south shore of the pond. At .6 miles the trail junctions with the Lost Pond Trail and at 1.0 mile that trail junctions with the Appalachian Trail. Beyond, the trail junctions with Tracy and Elbow Pond Trail. Continue on the loop trail back to the campground.
