The trail starts at Daicey Pond Road, before crossing a field and entering woods, at .1 miles turn right onto an old tote road. Continue on the tote road, which soon runs parallel to the Nesowadnehunk Stream to the right. At .9 miles there are two short side trails to the Toll Dam and to the Little Niagara Falls. At 1.2 miles there is a side trail to Big Niagara Falls, considered one of the park's best waterfalls. Continuing on the AT, pass above Rocky Rips and at 2.1 miles, pass atop Windy Pitch. At 3.3 miles reach the West Branch Tote Road, which bears left. Cross over several small streams and at 6.3 miles reach the Foss & Knowlton Trail junction. Just .2 miles further, at 6.5 miles, reach the Blueberry Ledges Trail junction. At 6.9 miles cross the Abol Stream via a footbridge and continue on towards the Abol Bridge. The trail terminates at the store and private campground at the bridge over the West Branch. The AT continues across the bridge.
