Canon Brook Trail Details

Canon Brook Trail begins as a part of a pre-Revolutionary War road that has been transformed into a relatively flat walking path. As the trail nears Dorr Mountain, however, the terrain becomes much rougher. It joins with the Dorr Mountain South Ridge Trail and the A. Murray Young Trail and rises up the steep slopes of Cadillac's South Ridge Trail. Views are best from the sheer rock faces running parallel to Canon Brook on the South Ridge. The trail continues to intersect with the Pond Trail for access to Jordan Pond. Trailhead: .5 mile from Ladder Trail trailhead (just south of the Tarn).
